Fontainebleau Sandstone blocks available for sale
Being based in Paris, Cydarex has access to Fontainebleau quarries, and offers Fontainebleau blocks for sale. The blocks are made of sandstone. This sandstone has a unique property in the world, that there is absolutely no presence of clay – the rock is perfectly white. This property makes the Fontainebleau sandstone suitable as a standard for calibration of laboratory equipments.
The blocks were bought in a quarry in Fontainebleau, France, and are stored and characterized in Cydarex laboratory. The size, porosity, and permeability for each block are available. Contact us for details.
